Learn Horse Riding/Jumping, Tacking & Grooming, Horse Safety, and much, much more!

Session Schedule:
January 3rd - January 4th, 2008 | 9:00AM to 3:00PM

The Camp Training Program Agenda:
SAFETY AWARENESS - PREVENTIVE MEDICINE - FARRIER DEMONSTRATION
VETERINARIAN DEMONSTRATION - PARTS of the HORSE - LAMENESS
COLOR - BREEDS - FEEDING - GROOMING - BATHING - CLIPPING
TACK - HORSE SPORTS - Buying a HORSE
WESTERN, ENGLISH and BAREBACK style riding
the advanced students will learn JUMPING
Horse Camp Fee is per rider. Students will receive a folder with information for camp and a
Dry Creek Equestrian Center T-shirt on the first day of camp.
* STUDENTS MUST ATTEND EACH DAY OF CAMP THERE ARE NO MAKEUP DAYS. * STUDENTS MUST HAVE A CORRECTLY COMPLETED RELEASE FORM TO ATTEND CAMP.

Mounting, dismount, emergency dismount (activities will be hands on)
Basic position

Veterinary demonstration
Transitions
Basic position
Rising trot
Two point
Cantering
Review of lessons
Review of different gaits
Going over poles/fences
Fun riding activities
